Nancy Donaghy is a passionate wellness enthusiast with over 24 years of experience. Her unique journey explores the impact of nutrition, age, disease, injury, and mental illness on the body. Difficult childhood experiences fueled Nancy’s connection between exercise and mental healing which drove her to help others feel better and stronger in their own body with the power of movement and health focused nourishment.
Nancy understands the toll of stress and fatigue on the body, which is why she educates her clients on the importance of recovery and adequate nourishment while following a strategic exercise program. Rooted in compassion, Nancy’s coaching approach values clients' intuition and various stages of life. She has played a pivotal role in clients shedding hundreds of pounds, building strength and confidence in challenging physical tasks, and feeling genuinely good about their daily movement and nutrition choices. Nancy is most proud of helping thousands of people over the years become deeply in tune with their bodies. She has observed first-hand how becoming aware of ones body while demonstrating self-compassion and discipline establishes an essential layer of mindfulness that 100% impacts her clients’ quality of life.
Academically, Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences. She has investigated and contributed to studies that evaluate the impact of exercise, movement, and nutrition on Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injuries, and the aging process as a graduate research assistant and graduate student. Nancy is an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Pilates Mat Instructor, Certified TRX Suspension Coach, and is actively pursuing her GGS Menopause Coaching Specialist Certification.
